2012 Central Region Mini-Conference

The mini-conference is being hosted by the Central Region POSSESS Public Relations/Membership and Fundraising Committees. The event will feature several presenters, a bake sale, and door prizes. All LDSS and VDSS staff members (POSSESS and non-POSSESS members, support staff and non-support staff) are welcome. There is no registration fee.

Presenters:

• Tonia Lee, Human Resources Analyst, VDSS - Updates on Managing Positions in LETS Presentation
• Dr. George Vetrovec, MD, Professor of Medicine, VCU Medical Center - Women’s Health - Heart Disease Presentation
• Anita Nadal, Spanish Instructor, VCU School of World Studies - Conversational Spanish (Will include common questions and phrases submitted by POSSESS members.)
• Everett Foxx, Vice President of Marketing and Business Development, Dominion Youth Services (Platinum Sponsor)

Bake Sale:

If you are interested in donating a baked good, e-mail Kim Kidwell at kimberly.kidwell@dss.virginia.gov. The following items will be on sale:

• Carrot cake
• Chocolate chip cookies
• Rum cake
• Strawberry and orange cupcakes

 

Registration:

• Pre-registration is required and the deadline is July 10, 2012.
• Registration form only.
• Entire registration packet.

• We will accept registrations up until Friday, July 13, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.
